Judas Priest, Alice Cooper to rock North America in tour that includes Cincinnati concert


CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Get ready to rock as heavy metal icons Judas Priest and shock rock legend Alice Cooper join forces for a monumental co-headlining tour across North America this fall. The 22-city tour will electrify audiences with a stop at Riverbend Music Center on Oct. 4.

Judas Priest, fresh off the second leg of their Invincible Shield Tour and the release of their 19th studio album, continues to dominate the metal scene. Meanwhile, Alice Cooper, the godfather of theatrical rock, is set to unveil an all-new show for this tour after concluding his “Too Close For Comfort” tour this summer, which promoted his latest album, “Road.”

Corrosion of Conformity will join as support on select dates, adding to the tour’s heavy-hitting lineup. That includes Cincinnati.Judas Priest have been trailblazers in the heavy metal genre for over 50 years. With albums such as “British Steel” and “Screaming for Vengeance,” their legacy is solidified by their Hall of Fame induction. Cooper has captivated audiences for over five decades with his blend of horror theatrics and classic hard rock anthems — a career that includes iconic albums like “Love It to Death” and “Detroit Stories.”
